WARSAW, Poland. Nov 4 (PSN) – Polish national team coach Jerzy Brzeczek announced on Monday his called up team for the upcoming matches for UEFA EURO 2020 qualifying against Israel and Slovenia.

The first match will take place on November 16 in Jerusalem with Israel, while the second one three days later in Warsaw against Slovenia.

Kamil Jozwiak will join the team in Jerusalem after playing a UEFA EURO U-21 2021 qualifier against Bulgaria on November 15, while Lukasz Piszczek will arrive for training camp on November 17 – missing the encounter with Israel. The Borussia Dortmund rightback is coming back out of retirement to feature one last time for Poland for a farewell game.

Robert Lewandowski is also unlikely to play in both fixtures despite being called-up. The Polish striker has a nagging groin issue and according to German newspaper Bild, will undergo surgery during the international break.
