WARSAW, Poland. November 6 (PSN) – Poland manager Adam Nawalka announced today his squad for the November friendlies with Iceland (13th at the National Stadium in Warsaw) and the Czech Republic (17th at the Stadion Wroclaw).
In addition to the call-ups from abroad and the Ekstraklasa, Pawel Dawidowicz was also surprisingly included.
The defensive midfielder has yet to break into the Benfica first team since his transfer to Portugal from Lechia Gdansk in May 2014. Dawidowicz has only been a regular for Benfica B, the club’s reserve side.
Both Iceland and Czech Republic have also qualified for UEFA EURO 2016.
