WARSAW, Poland. March 16 (PSN) – Poland national team coach Adam Nawalka has announced his completed international call-ups for the upcoming friendly games with Nigeria and South Korea that will be played in preparation for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The headliner of the recent call-ups is certainly the inclusion of Jagiellonia Bialystok midfielder and captain, Taras Romanczuk. The Ukraine-born player only recently received his Polish citizenship in late February and became eligible to play for the Polish national team. While Romanczuk hails from Ukraine, he has spent all his professional career in Poland, signing his first contract in 2013 for II liga outfit Legionovia Legionowo.
Amongst Romanczuk receiving his very first international call-up is also defender Pawel Jaroszynski and midfielder Damian Kadzior. Jaroszynski currently plays for Chievo Verona in the Serie A after moving from Cracovia Krakow in last summer, while the latter is a consistent starter on Gornik Zabrze in the Ekstraklasa.
Poland will play Nigeria on March 23 in Wroclaw and afterwards face South Korea on March 27 in Chorzow.
