WARSAW, Poland. Match 11 (PSN) – Poland national team coach Jerzy Brzeczek announced the call-ups on Monday for the first two matches of the UEFA EURO 2020 qualifiers against with Austria and Latvia.
For these games, the Selekcjoner has decided to introduce some new names to the senior team fold that were previously exclusive only to the U-21 team. These two players being Robert Gumny (defender), and Szymon Zurkowski (midfielder). Dawid Kownacki (striker), whose also a key player for the U-21 will be returning to the senior side after good performances for Fortuna Dusseldorf.
The first game (Austria) will take place on March 21 in Vienna and the second one (Latvia) will be in Warsaw three days later.
