NICE, France. June 12 (PSN) – Kamil Grosicki’s current status is still not yet officially known.
What is known is that Grosicki is still recovering and expects to make an appearance at UEFA EURO 2016.On Saturday the Polish winger trained with the rest of the team, but his playing status for Sunday’s encounter with Northern Ireland is still a huge question mark.
“For the decision on whether we will play him will be made later tonight in Nice,” said Poland manager Adam Nawalka.
“It will be a game time decision for us.”
Grosicki suffered a minor ankle injury in an exhibition match with Lithuania last week.
Since Monday the medical team have been fighting for his recovery and progress thus far has been impressive.
The question now remains whether Nawalka will want to risk playing the 28-year-old for the most physical group stage match on Sunday, or rather save him for the later fixtures with Germany and Ukraine.
