WARSAW, Poland. September 3 (PSN) – Kamil Grosicki will not play this weekend.

Due to injury the winger will miss the upcoming FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifier against Kazakhstan on Sunday – announced the Polish Football Federation (PZPN).

The Stade Rennais FC player did not depart to Astana with the rest of the team because of an injured limb-girdle. It should be noted, the 28-year-old injured the muscle before the national team training camp this past week.

Poland coach Adam Nawalka decided that because the player could not play at one-hundred percent he should be sent home to recover.

Fortunately, reports coming in confirm that Grosicki should be good to play at full health soon and will return back to action next week.

He should be ready for the Ligue 1 match against SM Caen next Sunday.

In his current league campaign, the 44-capped international played two matches so far. He did not score or record any assists yet.
