FIFA: Poland Make Record Push to 5th Place in World Ranking

WARSAW, Poland. Aug 13 (PSN) – The Polish national team has recorded another step forward in The FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking system.

Adam Nawalka’s team now sees themselves holding down the prestigious fifth place.

The Poles have never been this high up in the world rankings list in history. Last July, they were in the sixth position which already was a monumental jump from past years achievements. Now, in August, Poland have overtook European champions Portugal’s spot in the world list of top teams.

Ahead Poland not far off point wise are two other national teams – Switzerland and Argentina, who like the bialo-czerwoni hold 13xx points.

Meanwhile, Brazil have over taken the current world champions, Germany, for first place on the list.
