ARLAMOW, Poland. June 4 (PSN) – Poland national team manager Adam Nawalka announced on Monday the 23 names that will be included for the final Poland roster that will play at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The 9 players who were dropped from the final squad are: Lukasz Skorupski, Tomasz Kedziora, Pawel Dawidowicz, Przemysław Frankowski, Sebastian Szymanski, Krzysztof Maczynski, Szymon Zurkowski, Kamil Wilczek and Marcin Kaminski*.
Among those names, Kaminski may end up staying despite initially getting cut from the team.
This is due to the current situation regarding Kamil Glik. While Glik is still included on the list, there is some doubt whether he’ll be able to actually play in Russia.
During a practice session on Monday he contracted a shoulder injury and was sent to the hospital. At the moment there is no word on how serious his injury is, so for the time being Marcin Kaminski will remain on the list, who may eventually replace Glik in the final team.
