WARSAW, Poland. May 12 (PSN) – On Friday, Poland National Team manager Adam Nawalka announced the following 35-man provisional squad in advance of this summer’s 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Although there are no major surprises with Nawalka’s call-ups, it is noteworthy that the youthful likes of Krzysztof Piatek, Sebastian Szymanski and Szymon Zurkowski have made the provisional squad. This is likely to allow for the trio gain invaluable exposure among some of the more seasoned regulars on the squad. Also, the much maligned Taras Romanczuk experiment seems to be all but over, given his recent dip in club form.

The next step is for Nawalka to trim the roster down to 28 players by May 18.

From there, the players will be taken to coastal resort of Jurata in Northern Poland for some much needed rest and relaxation from May 21 to 26. The team will then traverse to their official training base in Armalow from May 28 to June 7.

Nawalka will have to solidify his final 23-man lineup by June 5.
